Nutrition wise, one-a-day is all I should eat due to sugar and saturated fat. This was unlike any other protein bar I've ever tried as none have been like this. They have provided the foods as part of the program but that is it! The Turbo Takeoff obviously works quite well. They recommend very little exercise during the first week due to allowing your body to adjust to the lower number of calories eaten each day.
The average calorie count each day doing Turbo Takeoff is about calories, so it is quite low. The first two days were a little difficult as my body adjusted to no caffeine from sodas, but starting with day three that was no longer an issue. I did some minor exercise during the week, as well as some sit-ups and push-ups each evening. Regarding the food for week one; for the most part it was pretty good. There were definitely some items I knew I probably wouldn't like, but most items were good to very good.
One way that the Nutrisystem really helps you out and they make it very easy is labeling the food for you. Each item is labeled as Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner or Snack. It's so easy for me to just grab my breakfast, lunch and two snacks for work each day. I grew up on this recipe! They used to serve this to me at my public elementary school cafeteria. I have made this recipe for a long time by dropping it from a spoon in clusters! In order to add more crunch to it, I use Frosted Flakes instead of plain ole' cornflakes.
