I was on hold for several minutes and when he finally came back he proceeded to tell me that his supervisor was at lunch and would called me back when she returned, "Oh and by the way here's your confirmation for your cancellation". It looks like if Nutrisystem doesn't say anything about the problem, then it magically doesn't exist somehow.
